Adult Patients 25+

PLEASE REVIEW THE INFORMATION.

If you have been referred to our office by an attorney for an evaluation specifically related to court proceedings please email intakes@aapsa.net with details regarding the requested evaluation and your attorney’s contact information.

As you may know, the labor market has been incredibly tight which makes staffing for clinical positions very challenging. In particular, our ability to provide diagnostic services has been strained due to these staffing shortages. Thus, we have come to the difficult decision to limit the scope of our diagnostic services. Effective immediately, we are no longer able to accept new patients 25 years and older. We recommend you contact your insurance carrier to obtain a list of providers/agencies that participate with your plan.

New York State has dedicated 988 contact centers for people experiencing a mental health crisis. The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline connects you to trained crisis counselors 24/7. They can help anyone thinking about suicide, struggling with substance use, experiencing a mental health crisis, or any other kind of emotional distress. You can also call, text or chat 988 if you are worried about someone you care about who may need crisis support. 988 can connect you to other providers in the community that will support your needs.
